Réhabilitation d’une maison du XVIe siècle située au milieu d’une forêt, offrant une vue imprenable sur le versant nord des Pyrénées.
Conformément aux contraintes budgétaires et à l’idée d’une transformation à partir de presque rien, l’intervention est concentrée sur la partie sud-est de la maison. Elle se limite à une empreinte réduite au minimum qui transforme radicalement la relation avec le site – la nouvelle façade sud est désormais la principale- et permet d’améliorer les performances de toute la maison : nouvelles chambres et espaces ouverts généreux pour un mode de vie en commun. This project is the result of an equal collaborative effort and intense dialogue between the different team members, motivated by a common aim: to find an appropriate strategy, from a volumetric and construction point of view, to resolve the high urban density required while increasing the amount of space available for collective use. Thus, we advocate for a coherent urban structure that provides a framework for the renewed life of Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, while also taking advantage of existing conditions of the site.
