The areas of the Lisbon harbor is reconfigurating for future functions. The city of Lisbon has launched an ambitious masterplan for the city meeting the water. The revitalizing of the areas will now give Lisbon a completely new face towards the water. A cruise terminal is an organizer of flow. Of the various flows of cruise guests, staff and supplies arriving and departing and the many busses and taxis to accommodate the peak hour situations.
To be successful the Cruise terminal should be an integrated part of the city flow and a structure that includes the whole of the surroundings. The traffic and the logistics of passengers therefore have the same importance as the exclusive terminal building itself. In this way all the different kinds of flow and traffic becomes the lay-out.
