In 2022, the first edition of De Renava took place, a contemporary art biennale aimed at revitalizing forgotten, abandoned, or even ruined places through an exhibition that takes the form of a sensory journey in the streets of the old town of Bonifacio. This second edition of the biennale, featuring just under twenty invited artists, tells the story of nostalgia for lost paradises, the emancipation of thought, the slow conquest of freedom, and the cyclical nature of building an ideal that already contains the seeds of its destruction. The presented project is the development of the forecourt welcoming the biennale. The main challenge of this commission lies in the ability of the intervention to generate interest, as well as to signify the entrance and invite people to rediscover places filled with history. The Hotel A Cheda finds its inspiration in the typical vernacular constructions called “Baracun” in the Bonifacio region. Thus, the project reveals like a long curved stone wall that houses the hotel suites. ORMA ARCHITETTURA

The corsican deer, an endemic species that disappeared in 1969, is now resurrecting along the years thanks to a reintroduction program led by the Corsican Natural Regional Park in 1985. This program, very successful, is now entering a second phase mainly based on information and education in order to raise people’s awareness regarding the fragility of the species. Le projet consiste à réaliser six passerelles à l’échelle du maquis, des ruisseaux et rivières en venant les effleurer. A l’échelle du grand paysage les installations veulent disparaitre au grès de ces espaces naturelles, sauvages et peu fréquentés par la mise en œuvre d’une structure légère et transparente. En effet, ces installations se révèlent aux visiteurs dans sa totalité dans un rayon inférieur à 30 mètres. Continue reading Orma architettura
