Abraçar l’essència . Muro

In the town of Muro, in Mallorca, we find a place in the rural area marked by an agricultural past where two constructions heavily related to the element of the water appear: a mill, -which used to extract water from the subsoil through a well-and a cistern -dedicated to storage and irrigation this water-. As usual in this type of structure dedicated to the plowing of the land, it is located right on the edge of the plot, close to a path where in a not so distant past the workers of the farm exchanged and developed manual work beyond the harvest. Apodyterium . Santa Margalida

In the ancient Roman baths and some public buildings, there was a space known as the Apodyterium, which served as a dressing room. It was a vaulted room where people undressed and stored their belongings in niches before entering the baths. Sometimes, the only source of light came from small openings in the vault itself. Located on the same street of the church of Muro, Mallorca, a three-story house with a marès façade emerges that, overall, present great potential. The interior is characterized by a neutral palette of colors, predominantly beige, brown and orange, which gain life when sunlight highlights the stone of the walls and wood of the floors.
