The new replacement building in Langenthal is built into its immediate neighborhood on three sides. People live together – on three floors.
On the ground floor, the spatial elements appear scattered. Centrally or laterally they form situational spatial figures – a collage – which is to be expanded when the everyday coziness moves in. Wide stairs connect the entrance space with the living space. Central – arranging, stands a pillar, a figure, without head it reaches out – stretches – until it touches the outer walls – almost.
