Located in Aubrac, heart of France, in a specific landscape made up of plains, meadows and rocks, this exhibition hall offers local integration that is both gentle and brutal.

This dichotomy takes place with the weight of this huge concrete roof which comes to lay down on three existing rocks. A black slab, such as perforated tray, totally exogenous from the site then creates a landmark in the landscape. This roof also delimits the space on the ground without ever touching it. Making the city.
The new youth centre is situated on a relatively small site, partly in an existing building. Because the available spaces of the existing groundfloor appartment, that was also included in the new youth centre, were relatively small, the largest space of the youth centre was built next to the existing building, and gives access to the adjacent small park.
The interaction with the park is crucial, as it was underused before. With big terrace windows and an outdoor storage area with beach chairs, parasols and toys, the youth centre offers new uses and a renewed dynamism to the public domain. Continue reading Carton123

El proyecto se desarrolla en un local comercial en planta baja y sótano con unas condiciones particulares de volumen y tamaño: de crujía estrecha, sección profunda y un único acceso posible. For Murillo, the idea of physical presence and gesture in painting is connected to the act of using one’s body to demonstrate dissent in the face of power. In fact, the term manifestation is commonly used in several languages to describe a political protest. The presentation of this series has often exceeded the traditional limitations of the gallery wall, such as in Oscar Murillo: Horizontal Darkness in Search of Solidarity (2019–2020) at the Kunstverein in Hamburg, where the works formed part of an agora-like seating arena.
