This project explores the notion that the whole sum is superior to the parts. Due to its sober architectural vocabulary, this campus reads as a strong entity, coherent and integrated. The buildings adopt varying envelopes according to the functions they house.
Nevertheless, they all adhere to a simple principle: exterior facades are rarely open, interior (courtyard) facades are exposed while incorporating screens to control the light. The project proposes a holistic approach to sustainable design with the goal of defining standards of excellence which will serve as a model for the future Ville Verte.
