Charlotte CHESNAIS is proud to announce the opening of her first international flagship boutique in Tokyo. Situated in the vibrant Aoyama district, the new space is more than a store — it is a reflection of Charlotte’s longstanding dialogue with Japan, shaped by admiration, subtlety, and a shared visual language.
A space born from deep affection, quiet contemplation, and the art of transformation
Three years in the making, this new boutique represents a deeply personal expansion — a thoughtful step into the global landscape, grounded in emotional connection. Designed by Dutch architect Anne Holtrop, with whom Charlotte has collaborated on two previous projects in Paris, the Tokyo space continues their shared exploration of form and material. In Paris, their work centered on recyclable acrylic. In Tokyo, they followed a thread that echoes it, yet goes further, with a different materiality.
Ultimately, the Tokyo flagship stands as a bridge: “A bridge between Tokyo and Paris. Between French sensitivity and Japanese minimalism. Between the purity of materials and the
emotion of design.”
