In the new production building of the Winegrowers’ Association on Reichenau Island, the cooperative’s wine will be produced, as the old cellar was too small and in need of renovation.
The building, standing freely in the cultural landscape, facilitates all work steps, from pressing to storage, bottling, and shipping, using modern technology and under optimal spatial conditions. Located at the foot of the vineyards, the compact timber structure, with a contemporary architectural language, stands over a concrete basement and, in addition to the sales vinotheque, serves as an additional flagship for the Winegrowers’ Association.
Besides the two-story production area, the administration section of the building houses offices and common rooms with a view of the vineyard landscape.
