Tales & Tellers is an exhibition that brings together the video content produced through Miu Miu’s collaboration with female filmmakers and artists over more than ten years. Held in the hypostyle room of Palais d’Iéna, the exhibition presents 35 videos from the fashion shows and from Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales short film series.

The room’s columns, floor, walls and windows are left as they are. Natural light enters unobstructed. The sole occupants of the space are 35 ‘custodians’, actors that represent the protagonist in each video. Each custodian is paired with a ‘device’, an object that incorporates a screen, designed as a physical abstraction of the videos’ content. As the videos play, the actors perform actions that, like the devices, reinterpret the videos in an abstract way. The custodians disrupt the two-dimensional video format, and the room turns into a town-square-like environment filled with living sculptures.

Near the main staircase, a lounge area made from fragments of the set design for Miu Miu’s Spring Summer 2025 runway show displays The Truthless Times, a newspaper created for the exhibition. More copies hang from a conveyor belt that moves above the lounge, another element from the previous show.
