First look at JOMOO Headquarters.
Located within Xiamen’s developing business district, the site of JOMOO’s new headquarters negotiates lush mountains, dense towers and remnants of urban conditions that go back centuries. To address the varying contexts, we rejected typical tower-podium solutions, and reshaped the building’s lower levels into an expanding, faceted volume with a mountain-like base.
The striking façade is created through an envelope of structural members, forming thick lines that fold with each facet. The result is a pattern that recalls traditional Minnan-style window barring. Crisp lines are rendered in white ceramic to reflect JOMOO’s legacy as one of the largest sanitary fixtures brands in China.
