Zagreb Lauba’s gallery redesigned by Sou Fujimoto.

Sou Fujimoto has designed an oval-shaped garden roof space for the building in which trees will also be planted. The inspiration came from Lauba’s meaning, a colloquial word to describe a circular area of trees. Lauba was constructed by Emil Eisner and Adolf Ehrlich in 1910 as stables and riding school for the army. Later became a weaving mill of the Textile Combine Zagreb, until being converted into a gallery and event space in 2008.
