The design goes beyond simply extending the school building. Instead, it strengthens the character and status of the existing system as a public space, a school and a municipal center. The building acts in the spirit of a “vertical network structure” by playing with the special topography of the area to connect the existing levels and uses. Situé sur une parcelle extrêmement étroite prise entre l’autoroute A1 et une ligne à haute tension, le projet utilise ces contraintes par le développement d’une morphologie singulière proposant un bâtiment étroit et long exploitant le maximum du potentiel constructible, tout en respectant les contraintes présentes, et offrant par sa longueur une protection acoustique au quartier de logements existant en contre-bas.
Son implantation semi-enterrée respecte le gabarit maximum autorisé, tout en proposant deux accès différenciés au bâtiment : un accès clientèle côté rue et un accès pour le personnel en aval, au niveau inférieur. Continue reading 2b architectes

2b architectes es un despacho al que seguimos con interés. Hemos recibido una queja de su parte por utilizar imágenes de sus obras sin su consentimiento previo. No ha sido posible obtener su acuerdo para mantenerlas en el blog así que procedemos a retirarlas. Esperemos que en el futuro sea posible volver a mostrar sus proyectos.
