Kunsthaus Bregenz is a distinctive place. Its atmosphere increases awareness, opening the eyes, ears, and pores. For its anniversary year – KUB is now 20 years old – Kunsthaus Bregenz’s renowned architect Peter Zumthor has been invited to stage an exhibition. The Pritzker prizewinning architect has decided to dispense with any kind of traditional exhibition, instead creating spaces, receptacles for thinking, displaying, and listening, for the artistic ventures he cherishes and that have inspired him: Dear to Me. Atelier Peter Zumthor . + baunetz

The Swiss architect Peter Zumthor is presenting the project for the extension to the Fondation Beyeler in Riehen/Basel. The extension will be constructed on the previously private land of the Iselin-Weber Park, which adjoins the Fondation Beyeler. A new public park will thus be created in the heart of Riehen. The Fondation Beyeler will thereby create a group of museum buildings that satisfies the needs of a visitor-friendly museum. The size of the parks will be doubled. Continue reading Peter Zumthor
