Two curved elements organize the 300sq measuring interior room. Bounds are vanishing, interior becomes exterior and exterior becomes interior. Thereby open sequences of spaces are generated, permitting new visual axes. This experience is enforced by the transparency in the upper part of the wall, whereby arises the effect of a continuous room. The winding forms make curious, melt limitations, offer the possibility to back out and reduce fears of contact. They give the feeling of security. Continue reading Pedevilla

Town Hall . St. Lorenzen

St. Lorenzen is a small community in South Tyrol, an area of the Italian Alps that lies near the Austrian border. The newly constructed Town Hall of St. Lorenzen is located in its historical church square, which forms the heart of the village. This positioning of the Town Hall has resulted in the creation of two separate spaces: on the one hand, a large public square fronted by most of the village’s commercial buildings; on the other, a private school yard reserved solely for the use of the adjacent elementary school. Indoor rock climbing . Bruneck

The building was created by overlapping two rectangular structures. The horizontal element, incorporating the indoor boulder area and the vertical element with the indoor rock climbing space. The building envelope, appearing with clean lines, creates two glazed main facades. These windows offer an excellent view of the indoor rock climbing space and a great spectator´s area for events. Town Hall . Feldthurns

Two separate volumes accord perfectly with the proportions of the surrounding buildings. The contemporary architecture, with its clear style and clean lines, avoids any historical imitation, whilst the use of mineral plaster is pleasantly reminiscent of traditional Alpine buildings. The roofs appear as traditional Alpine gable roofs. The Town hall is located at the square´s most public location, the public service building offers public and private facilities.
