LaCol SCCL . LaBoqueria Taller d’Arquitectura
La Balma is a project promoted by Sostre Cívic, which was the winner to develop a plot in the Poblenou neighborhood in the first public tender for leasehold of land for cooperative housing. The project seeks to expand the stock of non-speculative and affordable housing in the city.
During the competition phase, a socio-economic diagnosis of the group and a participatory process were made to work on and reach a consensus proposal, in which the user and the community play a leading role; the outcome is a building understood as an infrastructure that accompanies them and allows them to evolve freely from three social spheres: the neighborhood, the community, the unit of conviviality.
Taking into account the available resources, the focus was also on the initial cost of construction and use of the building, thinking about the final economic impact for the user avoiding energy poverty by reducing the cost of comfort by more than 50%. Continue reading LaCol . LaBoqueria

Coòpolis is a holistic facility to promote and boost the social and cooperative economy in Barcelona. It wants to be a space of reference for all those initiatives of the social, cooperative and community economy that require training, advice or support, establishing a new pole of economic promotion in the city. La Cooperativa d’habitatges La Borda és una promoció auto-organitzada per les seves futures usuàries per accedir a un habitatge digne, no especulatiu i que posi en el centre el seu valor d’ús, a través d’una estructura col.lectiva. La idea d’una cooperativa d’habitatges neix el 2012 com un projecte més de Can Batlló impulsat per la comunitat en el procés de recuperació del recinte industrial, i del teixit veïnal i cooperatiu del barri de sants.
El projecte s’emplaçarà a un solar (HPO) cedit per l’ajuntament a 75anys al carrer Constitució, situat en una posició limítrofa del recinte industrial de Can Batlló amb façana a la trama històrica del barri de la Bordeta. Continue reading Lacol
