Hans Hollein is a multifaceted creative: artist, architect, exhibition curator, designer, set designer, but also theorist and coeditor of the Bau magazine, where he advocated for a reevaluation of Josef Hoffmann and Adolf Loos’ works. It is through this transdisciplinary position that we must understand his work, which, beyond his major architectural projects (Mönchengladbach Museum, Museum für Moderne Kunst in Frankfurt, Haas Haus, Vulcania, etc.), defined a unique aesthetic and critical positioning.
