Serlachius Museum Gosta Extension . Mantta

The Serlachius Museum Gosta Extension is conceived as a silent action, a system, able to capture and emphasize the particular and main features of the place it belongs, without affecting the strong emotional charge of the surrounding landscape. Reduction, minimalism and simplicity in the architecture of the structure are the direct responses to the boundless beauty of this geography. An idea that recovers the memory of the place through a primordial form, an iconic and synthetic picture, which doesn’t overlap the landscape but allows an intense and emotional reading.

Residencial And Culture Center . Geneve

The new building houses (for livings) looks for a compromise between the historic building at 10 rue des Grottes, urban heart of the neighborhood and subject of restoration, and the adjacent buildings on the east part of the project area, through a strategy of limiting the impact of the facade on the main street through alignments in plan to make more fluid the change in scale between the new and the old. This strategy creates a building that interacts with urban and social space establishing with it a favoured visual connection. The light (smooth – armonioso) movements of the façade invite to many points of view over the city, reinforcing the extrovert aspect of this architecture in the lively area “des Grottes”. The new building also expands in the northwestern part of the lot, redefining blind the northern front of the existing bluiding. The new plant foreseens on the ground floor two commercial spaces overlooking the streets of access, technical service areas of the residence and lifts (reclimbing); the upper levels distributed in six floors with 15 apartments in total. The existing building is modified in a gentle and respectful way for public use, as required by the notice.  The original perforated patterns and the coverage are preserved, keeping the traditional aspect of this architecture. multifunctional centre . Sappada

L’edificio si inserisce al margine orientale della borgata Bach, ne definisce il limite oltre al quale si apre il grande salto di quota verso ovest. Da un lato il rapporto con la scala misurata del borgo, dall’altro la relazione con la valle e con le catene montuose che fanno da scenario poderoso all´intervento. Il nuovo complesso è un sistema formato da tre architetture simili generate dalla stessa tipologia, dallo stesso modulo, tre architetture contemporanee e silenziose, sedute sulla topografia in maniera naturale. Gli edifici sono compatti in modo da dare continuitá al tipico tessuto urbano della borgata sfruttando il salto di quota nord/sud per incassare parzialmente diverse funzioni. La lirica del progetto è semplice ed austera, fatta di corpi di fabbrica sererni, ben proporzionati e rigorosi. Un piccolo borgo nel borgo che assorbe e ripete il fascino della migliore tradizione costruttiva Alpina, fatto di sapienza e misura, di continuitá e silenzio. Il progetto trova in queste suggestioni la sua massima espressione: un` architettura contemporanea che sa diventare parte del paesaggio, dare continuitá allo sfondo teatrale dei monti, diventare una pre-esistenza familiare per la borgata. Memorial para las Victimas del Franquismo . AIRE

La Memoria es un recuerdo capaz de sobrevivir al paso del tiempo solo en la medida en que la sociedad sea capaz de cuidarla y protegerla de los acontecimientos y los ataques de la historia. En el monumento propuesto para las víctimas del Franquismo, el mensaje principal pretende ser la restitución a la vida de la “Memoria borrada”, un homenaje discreto y de fuerte impacto emocional a los miles de personas olvidadas por la historia, el tiempo y por la sociedad misma. Con el pretexto de escapar de una fácil y estéril “retorica de lo monumental” la solución propuesta concentra su mensaje en el fuerte acto de voluntad de “liberar” de la capa del olvido la identidad, los nombres de las victimas desconocidas, de ofrecer su sacrificio a la sociedad a través de un respetuoso sistema que mezcla arquitectura, arte y naturaleza.
