A new neighborhood center is being developed on the ridge between Unterstrass and Oerlikon. The simple yet precisely positioned buildings, with their architecturally articulated forms, create a loosely connected ensemble that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding environment. The rich variety of scales, programmatic offerings, and atmospheres fosters the ideal conditions for urban life to thrive. The composition frames the new neighborhood park, shielding it from noise while also connecting it to the existing open spaces. Depending on the viewpoint, the residential blocks either face or turn away from Hofwiesenstrasse.
