The extension is built next to the old Town Hall on a lot with a generous view on the scenic Sambre valley. The ambitions were to amplify the public usage of the site and to preserve the ring of linden trees at its limits. Rather than to simply lay on the land, the building hovers thanks to an impressive cantilever structure – only the cafeteria is in contact with the ground and can therefore be used for events taking place in the park. A slight slope guides the public to the reception from where the different services are easily found, being strategically located in each of the three branches of the plan. Lake house . Chatillon

An existing psycho-rigid and introverted house which is just too frustrating too watch in the context of this majestic landscape (Lake of Bourget, with the Mont Blanc in the background, was ‘exploded’ to become a psycho-liberated and generous.
Extensions may be, therefore, read as a literal deformation of an existing volume to form a sculpture perched on a promontory, proudly stuck between two mountain sides facing the lake with its unexlored depths. Continue reading bureau vers plus de bien-être / V+

The town house is located in a densely built residential area in Brussels’ busy town centre.

The plot is in the shape of a horse’s head, comprising the existing town house, an industrial building in the courtyard and another 18th century industrial building which currently serves as an auction house. The original programme included the renovation of the town house on the road side and the construction of an art gallery in the courtyard. Later on the client agreed to make a second family house on the existing industrial building and thus complete the existing party wall with a perforated facade. lt on the existing industrial building completethe row of party walls.
