ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, unveiled its plans for the previously announced ESET Campus – an innovation and technology hub based in its headquarters’ city, Bratislava, Slovakia. The 55,000 m2 campus designed by world-renowned architectural studio BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group will house the company’s new headquarters and will become a center of excellence, creating a strong cybersecurity, AI and innovation ecosystem for Slovakia and Central Europe. This theoretical investigation is based on the desire to explore the inherent potential of the countryside, both in its morphology and its deep ethical meaning. The architectural object under development is proposed as one of the venues for new, emerging, itinerant, heterogeneous and flexible groups. Very present within the French territory and in need of recovering a direct contact with nature, individuals who want to be part of the “holistic models for socio-cultural transformation” are now looking for new spatial identities to live collectively and take care of their surroundings.
