9_the courtyard as a threshold . Lodosa
In a neighborhood where the courtyards remain in the interior part of the plot, the house inverts its morphology and displaces the empty space to the south of the plot, generating a new interior facade that opens to the south and to the views delimited by its perimeter wall.
The courtyard redefines the limits of living, becoming the center from which the relationship between the built space, the environment and intimacy is organized. This gesture turns the courtyard into a habitable threshold, a transitional space that connects the interior with the sky and the light.
