Immersed in the park of an aristocratic villa in the hills, the project fulfils the need for additional space by the foundation dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders.
The building sits on the slope straddling the path between the trees so that the internal distribution is nothing but the continuation of it. Wooden pillars stick out of the ground like tree trunks and each element is dimensioned to a minimum.
The rhythmic pattern is broken by the dynamism of the shading systems whose mutability transforms the fronts according to the changing seasons and light conditions. The thin roof line traces a horizon that emphasises the reading of the topography.
The spirit of the pavilion is fulfilled by the creation of a place of calm and peace in strong connection with nature, open to multiple uses.
