Caruso St John . Lütjens Padmanabhan
A façade mock-up had been constructed for two residential buildings designed for the Im Gut housing cooperative. The two buildings, which will face each other along Gutstrasse in Zurich Wiedikon, will be defined by their distinctive combination of tilted corrugated panels and bright yellow highlights.
Developed in collaboration with Lütjens Padmanabhan Architekt*innen, the project is the result of an intense design process that began in 2020. The subtle variations in form and materiality reflect the depth of dialogue between the two practices. The buildings are currently under construction and are expected to be finished in autumn 2026.
