Complete refurbishment of a residence located on Heros Street, in the heart of Bilbao. A curved chestnut wood volume is strategically positioned at the core of the layout, housing two fully equipped bathrooms and structuring the home with spatial efficiency: the kitchen is anchored on one side, while a walk-in wardrobe is arranged on the other. Circulation flows smoothly around this central element, ensuring a sense of openness, luminosity, and discreet order throughout the space.
The bedroom is defined by an acoustic curtain, maintaining visual continuity while subtly delineating private areas. Natural light permeates the interior from the earliest hours of the day, enhancing the functionality of each zone and fostering a serene relationship between user and space.
The material palette—featuring noble elements such as natural chestnut wood, limestone, and glazed plaster—adds richness, clarity, and timeless elegance. A model-making studio, enclosed by a seamless pivoting door, completes a project conceived through the lens of functionality and executed with a sober, coherent architectural language.

Rehabilitación integral de una vivienda en la calle Heros, Bilbao. En el centro del espacio se introduce una pieza de castaño curvada, que contiene dos baños completos y organiza la casa de forma eficiente: hacia un lado se apoya la cocina, hacia el otro, un vestidor. La circulación alrededor de esta caja es fluida y cómoda, permitiendo que la vivienda se mantenga abierta, luminosa y ordenada con discreción. El dormitorio se separa con una cortina acústica para preservar la continuidad visual. La luz natural entra desde primera hora y acompaña el uso de cada zona, generando una relación más armoniosa con el espacio. Se emplean materiales nobles como madera natural de castaño, piedra caliza y yeso esmaltado, que aportan textura, claridad y elegancia. Un taller de maquetas cerrado con una puerta pivotante integrada completa un proyecto pensado desde la funcionalidad, con una estética sobria y coherente.
