Brussels’ urban landscape is dominated by 19th-century bourgeois row houses with 3 rooms in enfilade, connected by a lateral stair in the central room. Housing demand has forced this typology to evolve while urban restrictions preserve its form.

Hidden Villa exemplifies this mutation, built on a former garage site at the core of a block. Surrounded by a small garden, it is partially buried one meter due to height limits. The lower floors, with half-buried bedrooms, feature fully glazed facades opening to neighboring walls.

A central patio brings light and privacy. The north facade overlooks a greenhouse, doubling as the main entrance and an interior garden.
