With an area of over 220 hectares, Mercamadrid stands as one of the largest wholesale markets in Europe. In this industrial setting, the project for Frutas Eloy is being developed, which features a two-level warehouse designed for cold storage, where 32 trucks operate continuously 24 hours a day, handling loading and unloading tasks.
Within this industrial complex, an elongated structure is integrated, measuring 82 meters long and 19 meters wide. The materials used include reused compounds and recycled waste, with a selection of construction elements aimed at minimizing environmental impact. Flexibility is the central theme of the design: the offices are open and versatile, with areas designated for both individual and collaborative work.
The spatial configuration maximizes natural light access, reduces noise, and encourages interaction among employees. Additionally, open rest areas and interior spaces with vegetation have been incorporated, along with a kitchen located at the heart of the offices, where culinary demonstrations take place.
