Yet a year ago the building site took start. A project by JAN DE VYLDER INGE VINCK in collaboration with URA architects and ECTV architects and the result of a SO Gent competition and guided by 3D-REAL ESTATE.
Seven scaled volumes interfere with the informal forest on top introducing a common park in between. These alternating volumes curves alongside forest and creates park spaces in between. The landscape architect Dennis Dujardin keeps eye on all.

Caruso St John
Under construction. Office Building, Stampfenbachstrasse in Zurich, Switzerland.
The load-bearing polished stone column that forms the centrepiece of Caruso St John’s new office building on Stampfenbachstrasse in central Zurich was installed at the end of the 2024.
Quarried from Isola on the Italian side of the Splügen Pass, Pietra Smeralda is a variety of Verde Spluga with a shimmering green and silvery-white surface. The stone is also used for the façade cladding together with green fibre concrete elements.
