The project aims to highlight the housing typology of the Eixample. Its main objective is to recover and enhance the quality of the central space, which typically consists of long corridors with insufficient lighting. To achieve this, an interior void is created to allow optimal illumination through courtyards, in addition to reorganizing the overall layout of the dwelling. The rooms are conceived as spaces without predetermined uses, allowing for their combination to create larger rooms as needed.
By implementing these changes, the project not only revitalizes the architectural character of the Eixample but also significantly improves the living experience for its inhabitants. The interior voids and courtyards introduce an abundance of natural light into the previously dimly lit corridors, creating a more inviting and comfortable atmosphere within the living spaces.
Furthermore, the flexible design of the rooms allows for versatile use and adaptability to evolving needs. Residents can easily modify the layout of their homes, transforming individual rooms into larger, multipurpose areas for various functions, whether it be for social gatherings, workspaces, or other activities.

El proyecto tiene como objetivo resaltar la tipología de vivienda del Eixample. Su principal objetivo es recuperar y mejorar la calidad del espacio central, que generalmente se compone de pasillos largos con una iluminación insuficiente. Para lograrlo, se crea un vacío interior que permite una iluminación óptima a través de patios interiores, además de reorganizar la disposición general de la vivienda. Las habitaciones se conciben como espacios sin usos preestablecidos, lo que permite combinarlas para crear habitaciones más grandes según sea necesario. Con estos cambios, el proyecto no solo revitaliza el carácter arquitectónico del Eixample, sino que también mejora significativamente la experiencia de vida de sus habitantes. Los espacios interiores y los patios introducen una gran cantidad de luz natural en los pasillos previamente poco iluminados, creando un ambiente más acogedor y cómodo dentro de las áreas habitables.
