Flagship store of MUJI Labo, which consists of two main sections: a clothing store that faces the street and a slightly recessed home goods store. The design focuses on the products themselves, creating a space where they can be appreciated as part of the interior.
Both stores feature large openings, allowing a clear view from the street into the interior, showcasing the products and the people enjoying them. In the clothing store, garments are suspended from rings on the ceiling, allowing them to float in the air and be viewed from various angles. The grid-like arrangement of the rings offers flexibility in display, encouraging customers to move freely among the clothing.
The home goods store, on the other hand, has shelves covering three walls, filled with products from floor to ceiling, effectively making the products a part of the interior design. In the center, there’s a space where selected items are displayed, inviting customers to spend time exploring and engaging with the products.
