The project, located in a dense coniferous forest in Japan, is intended for temporary rental owned by a company promoting sustainable tourism, focusing on immersive experiences with nature.
Is conceived as a minimal volume that can be replicated or adapted by the owning company in different locations within the forest. This flexibility allows the company to generate multiple units without significantly altering the natural environment.
The house closes completely when not in use, functioning as a sealed box. However, once tenants occupy it, they can open different sections of the house to create personalized spaces, adjusting views and access to the exterior according to their preferences.
The interior program is distributed across eight identical spaces of 15.2 m², with varying ceiling heights. It aims to maximize sensory experiences through natural light, which enters through skylights, and by opening the corners toward the forest, offering panoramic views of the surroundings.
