Pavelló de Paper. Manual fitting of the roof overhang pieces. The pillars and main beams were assembled on site in Olot by the invited team from Yoshino, a collaborating city in the Vila project. Subsequently, Olot’s local team assembled the roof at ground level and lifted it with a crane to place it and fix it to the pillars. Once the roof was fixed, the overhang pieces made up of four beams were fixed to the roof and to each other with threaded rods. These joints helped stiffen the overall structure.

The construction of De Caai in Eindhoven is progressing steadily. Our tower FRESH is unwrapped of its scaffolds from the top down. As part of De Caai in Eindhoven, FRESH is at the very center of the large city development which will feature 700 residences across five towers on the former milk factory site.
