The project aims to incorporate new formal and material references into contemporary architectural practice. The idea is to reproduce the typical geometries of some caves in the French Provence.

The construction process involves assembling different pieces made of MDF ribs, which are cut using CNC technology. This technology is capable of replicating the complex geometries of the two caves.

The project “Caves” also explores the potential of working from positions that blur Modern binomials such as nature/culture, human/non-human, or object/subject. By doing so, it incorporates a finish in bright orange and yellow colors and a light-tinted green and pink. This contributes to the generation of a kind of queer nature.
