GARDEN SHEDS . Copenhagen

Two sheds are placed together with an existing bungalow. They stand as pavilions in the garden, built as simple structures out of larch wood. A facade of double doors allows the possibility of opening the sheds entirely. They become robust frames for different functions and activities.
The old and new are joined together by a ‘carpet’ of brickwork, curving along the houses and trees. At a distance, the red roof and warm wood cladding begin to merge with the yellow brick and red tiles of the bungalow.
