RABE is a commitment to the forgotten, an old construction warehouse and small offices that have been abandoned for more than 35 years. RABE is also a commitment by BEAR, an architecture studio, to create a space for exhibition, debate and enjoyment around architecture around its daily activity.
The project delves into the strong contrast between the two floors. Emphasizing the rawness of the old warehouse that is now made up of a huge table that cuts it in two, more than 20 meters long in saponated iron, which supported by pedestals, walls and block stairs invites you to get on it, go down and walk around it.
On the upper floor, the preexisting features are intensified based on a reddish base of new carpet that ties the floor and on which the cabinets, screens and wallpaper are restored and enhanced through careful use of color.
RABE was born in September 2023 after its invasion by its new vegetation and will define itself each year according to the use and intensity of its inhabitants.

RABE es una apuesta por lo olvidado, un antiguo almacén de construcción y unas pequeñas oficinas que llevan más de 35 años abandonado. RABE es también una apuesta de BEAR un estudio de arquitectura por conformar en torno a su actividad diaria un espacio de exposición, debate y disfrute alrededor de la arquitectura. El proyecto ahonda en el fuerte contraste entre las dos plantas. Enfatizando la crudeza del antiguo almacén que ahora se ve conformado por una enorme mesa que lo corta en dos, de más de 20 metros en hierro zaponado, que apoyada en peanas, muretes y escaleras de bloque invita a subirse a ella, bajar y recorrerla. La planta superior se intensifican las preexistencias a base de una base rojiza de nueva moqueta que ata la planta y sobre la que los armarios, mamparas y empapelados son restaurados y puestos en valor mediante un cuidado uso del color. RABE nace en septiembre de 2023 tras su invasión por parte de su nueva vegetación y se autodefinirá cada año conforme a uso e intensidad de sus habitantes.
