ABBRUCH “Demolition”
In 10 years the Triemli towers will be completely demolished. The demolition work has started, but the construction workers are under no time pressure, because here the demolition itself is the idea of temporary use.
The project focuses on the forthcoming demolition process of the Triemli Towers and proposes using the demolition process to create architecture itself. The precise design of the demolition process allows the interior to be demolished first while the outer shell is preserved.
The facades of all three towers are held with an external facade scaffolding, so that the entire interior can be covered from top to bottom, floor by floor. This creates three unique flexible 40m high event halls for the city.
