The new Çanakkale Antenna located in Turkey is an icon that connects to the landscape, complementing its natural environment and contributing to Çanakkale’s cultural scene. The key material of the project is corten steel, selected for its tectonic qualities that allow it to mutate following the effect of wind and sun exposure. The natural rust color of the material was perfect for this project – offering an extraordinary contrast with the green forest – and its rustic, antique appearance that reflects the long history of Çanakkale.
