By opening the side wall of a semi-detached house, the interior changes drastically with a minimal effort. A narrow structure is built against this wall as an extension of the three existing rooms on the ground floor. The structure behaves as a wintergarden, bringing daylight in the heart of the house but also involving the garden in the interior.
The structure is built as a simple canopy, a wooden structure covered with corrugated sheet. A new bedroom is added on the first floor, built with the stones recovered from the demolition. The addition is almost invisible in the whole.
