The expansion of this doctor’s practice had the challenge of communicating with the existing house from the 90s.
To achive an aesthetic unity the choise was made to place the old and the new volume very close to each other, yet detached.
Aesthetic unity by clustering different volumes instead of copying external features, but while respecting each other’s qualities such as visibility, light and accessibility.
