Located in the neighborhood of Campo de Ourique, built in the early 60’s, the apartment develops from the generatrix of the corner of the building.
The existing typology is born of the imbalance and the will to hide the elements that make up the structure of the building, the obvious consequence of which is its misalignment and excessive compartmentalization.
The intention of the project was the clear understanding and hierarchy of the social areas and the private areas of the apartment. Beams and concrete pillars, once hidden, are now exposed as memories of another occupation and assumed as an integral part of this new reality.

Localizado no Bairro de Campo de Ourique, num edifício construído no inicio da década de 60, o apartamento desenvolve-se a partir da geratriz da esquina do edifício. A tipologia existente nasce do desequilíbrio e da vontade de ocultar os elementos que compõe a estrutura do prédio, cuja consequência óbvia é a sua desajustada e excessiva compartimentação. A intenção do projecto passou pelo claro entendimento e hierarquização das áreas sociais das áreas privadas do apartamento. As vigas e pilares de betão, outrora ocultos, são agora expostos como memória de uma outra ocupação e assumidos enquanto partes integrantes desta nova realidade.
