A house in a forest. The foundation wall has 3 levels along the natural sloped landscape. The architecture is composed of several small masses in different levels and there are three roofed outdoor spaces in between those masses. The opening of the roof let the natural sunlight come into the interior so that the interior could get lightness even in the dark forest.

田畑の広がる平野に流れる河川の、自然堤防として生まれた微高地の森のなかの住宅。森の眺望やアプローチから、西側傾斜地へ建築を配置し、傾斜に沿った三段構成の基壇と、異なる環境の３つのテラスを立体的に配置しました。森の傾斜面に沿って大きく切り妻屋根をかけ、屋根にはテラスを伴う天窓を大きく設けることで、薄暗い森に光を通すように、室内に光を取り入れています。
