Vincent van Duysen’s newest addition to his Molteni project portfolio is the reimagination of their Milan-based Flagship. Continuing from the aesthetic language used in his 2016 Salone stand, the space is inspired by the forms and features of an Italian palazzo; utilising warm, textured materiality and pure architectural forms.
The inclusion of wooden beams which mirror the materiality of the floor, blur the division between living and dining rooms to provide the interior program with an interconnected and seamless spatial flow. Calling on a palette of glass, oxidised wood and raw metal the flagship’s atmosphere evokes the feeling of Italian craftsmanship and timeless, sustainable luxury.
