The Bakehouse . London
The Bakehouse is situated in a hidden enclave, a stone’s throw away from the hubbub of Peckham High Street. The project will provide a new roof and side extension to the former Victorian bakery, now used as a house.
The aim is to work with the historic quality of the existing building: the ground floor addition takes on the London stock brick of the neighbouring walls, while the new roof extension is clad with frameless glass panels.
