Designed by Eduardo Souto de Moura, this house fuses contemporary architecture with the traditional vernacular of the surrounding area. The house consists of two separate volumes unified by two interior gardens. The first volume (two storeys) was built using thermally insulated concrete, whilst the second volume (one storey) is characterised by the use of glass; creating a fluid continuity between the exterior and interior.
