Mayfair Gagosian Gallery . London
Caruso St John . TateHindle . + architects journal
The Gagosian on Grosvenor Hill is the international gallery’s third outpost in London and its most ambitious to date.
The 18,000 square feet gallery’s interior, which includes double height, daylit spaces, is designed by Caruso St. John, which also designed Gagosian galleries in Rome and Paris, and the successful redevelopment of Tate Britain. The exterior, basically recladding and remodelling of the existing building, is by TateHindle.
