Manuel and Francisco Aires Mateus appointed as winner of the ‘A museum, Two museums’ project. The project can now move forward with the construction of the new Vaud Pôle Muséal cultural space. By 2020, it will unite together on one site with a surface area of nearly 22,000 square metres, the future Pôle muséal will bring together three museums (mcb-a, mudac and the Musée de l’Elysée) and two foundations (Toms Pauli and Félix Vallotton Foundations) which throughout the year will offer a very broad and dynamic cultural programme to visitors of all tastes and ages.
