Emilie Halpern (b. 1976, Paris, France) is an artist living and working in Los Angeles…Part two of Shōka is titled 天 (pronounced ten, meaning ‘heaven’). 天 will document direct sunlight in the gallery space on the first day of exhibition. Gold leaf will cover the gallery space at a time when direct sunlight hits the interior on October 26, 2013.
