I don’t remember what day it was or what I was doing there. I was just walking and found a large and beautiful stone. It was white and calm but looked alone among so many giant trees. I thought it was waiting for a friend, because it was so patient and quiet. Along with the butterflies that played there I sat looking. I decided to go for that little belly button. Inside all was one space: a void into the sky that I haven’t seen in the forest. There the light was pure and made the flowers bloom. I rested and heard the echo of my presence. The butterflies came to me. I thought how I felt sheltered and how the wood, which was so close, seemed so far. I felt at home. Now I remember that everything happened somewhere in a forest that today I can’t find.
