Given a land without built preexistence, the proposed volume evolved naturally to a rigid geometry, composed by a grid of 3x3meters, shaping a square building with a total of 18 meters. Facing this configuration, the corners were subtracted to the volumetry, allowing the creation of different openings for each compartment.
The entrance of the house is formed by a patio, being an exception and breaking the established rule.
The house was implanted on the North side of the site, elevated 5cm from the ground, next to a dense forest.
The contrast between object/background, main principle of the project, is materialized into a building with a strong metric presence, reflection of its inner organization.

Face a um terreno sem preexistências construídas, a volumetria proposta evoluiu naturalmente para uma geometria rígida composta por uma malha de 3 metros com 18 metros de lado. A esta configuração subtraem-se os ângulos para abertura dos vãos, sendo que a entrada na casa é feita por um pátio que constitui uma excepção à regra definida. A casa pousa no solo a Norte do lote elevada do chão 5cm, junto a uma área densamente arborizada. O contraste figura/fundo, princípio regulador do projecto, é materializado numa construção com uma forte presença da métrica, resultante da sua organização interior.
