Burgh Island hotel
The competition to design a luxury standalone hotel suite on Burgh Island has been won by Carmody Groarke. The Pool House project is seeking to create a unique suite of hotel accommodation on a dramatic headland site to form an appropriate and contemporary adjunct to the Island’s iconic Art Deco Hotel. Carmody Groarke (with consulting structural engineers Price & Myers) were selected from a shortlist which also included dRMM, Featherstone Young, and Threefold Architects
